SHILLONG POLYTECHNIC

The Examination Cell of Shillong Polytechnic is responsible for conducting all the End Term Theory and Practical Examinations. Two End Term Final Diploma examinations are conducted during an Academic Session. Normally the Odd Terms (Term I,III and V) and Even Terms (Term II,IV and VI) examinations are held during the month of April/May and September/October respectively as per the rules and guidelines of the Meghalaya State Council for Technical Education (MSCTE). The Head of the Institution (Principal) is the Centre In-Charge of the Examination conducted in the Shillong Polytechnic. The Examination Superintendent, who is the over all In-Charge of the Examination Cell is appointed for a period of 2 to 3 years term by the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Meghalaya among the senior faculty members in addition to his/her normal duty.
