Computing and Internet Facilities:
The Institute is well equipped with latest computing facilities in all departments. Each department has a Computer Laboratory with 2 Mbps internet facilities provided by NIC(Shillong) which is accessible to the students for various academic purposes. Further, each faculty is also allotted a computer in their own chamber with internet connections for Lecture preparations, maintaining records etc.
Medical Services:
Shillong Polytechnic has a full time pharmacist who is present in the Institute during the working hours. Smti Patricia Thabah(M.Pharm) took over the charge as a full time Pharmacist in the institute. The institute also has a stock of medicines which are issued to the students as and when the need arise. Further, any serious cases are referred to the nearest hospitals and clinics.
Library Facility:
Library facility is one of the important facilities of the Institute to support the institute to march towards its vision.
Hostel Facilities:
The accommodation for the students is fulfilled by the presence of the hostels situated within the Institute Campus. The hostel accommodation is available for both boys and girls separately.
